Position Summary

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented administrative professional to support our Tax department. This role involves assisting tax and legal partners who specialize in serving closely held businesses and providing transactional business, real estate, and tax services. You will also support estate planning attorneys with fast-paced, document-intensive projects, particularly in areas like business planning, corporate governance, succession planning, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including answering and forwarding incoming calls and handling shipping and mail distribution.
- Assist with the client intake process for tax services and prepare engagement agreements.
- Perform document management tasks such as sorting, scanning, e-filing, and assembling materials.
- Support the billing department with accurate and timely invoicing.
- Provide administrative support to team members and perform confirmation calls to clients ensuring they've received their tax returns.
- Help the tax team with both front-end and back-end tasks that contribute to efficient service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Client-focused attitude with excellent service delivery.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong typing skills (60 WPM).
- Work Ethic: Reliable, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of legal and/or tax experience, particularly with source documents.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience with CCH ProSystems Suite is a plus.
