This role is for a Wound Care Nurse responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues. The nurse will assess, plan, and implement treatment plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. A minimum of two years of experience in wound care is required.

Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' wounds, ostomies, and continence needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Administering wound care treatments and managing ostomies.
- Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Educating patients and their families on wound care, ostomy management, and continence care.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and dieticians.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Minimum of two years of experience in wound care nursing.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certification.
- Wound care certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Ostomy certification.
Special Considerations:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm schedule.
- 12-week assignment.
- No candidates within 50 miles will be considered.
