Core Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a nationally recognized Houston-based healthcare system to recruit three Pediatric ECMO Specialists for a direct-hire opportunity within their elite pediatric critical care team.

This role offers the chance to make a profound impact in a high-acuity, technology-driven setting that supports some of the most vulnerable pediatric patients facing heart or lung failure. With approximately 30 ECMO cases per year, this is a rare opportunity to work at the cutting edge of pediatric medicine.

This high-acuity role is ideal for mission-driven nurses looking to grow in ECMO and pediatric critical care. We're looking for critical care RNs with strong communication skills, excellent judgment under pressure, and a deep commitment to life-saving pediatric care. Levels of experience are recognized and rewarded accordingly.

• Operate ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) machines during urgent interventions
  
  
• Provide holistic, age-appropriate care for pediatric and NICU populations
  
  
• Collaborate closely with physicians, RTs, and critical care teams
  
  
• Educate and support patient families during care and recovery
  
  
• Maintain precise documentation and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives
  
  
• Mentor junior team members and help build team excellence

• BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Current RN license in Texas or compact-eligible
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus
• Prior ECMO experience required
• Experience with pediatric or NICU patients strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure
