$0.80-$0.90 depending on experience CPM split team runs

Triton Transit, Inc is currently seeking CDL Class A Linehaul drivers to fill immediate TEAM RUN openings at the FedEx Cypress, TX terminal/ Houston Hub AND FedEx San Antonio terminal.

No Touch Drop and Hook Freight

Weekly runs over the road for extended periods of time, long distances, and between FedEx terminals.
Drop and hook
Average 5,000+ or more miles a week.

FULL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

21 years of age or older
Must possess a current class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with double/triple, hazardous materials, air brakes, and tank endorsements. * Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
Must possess 1 year experience within most recent 3 years, or obtained a certificate of successful completion from a qualified linehaul driving school
Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards
Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) regulations
Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Ability to hook-up and break-down sets of trailers that require an average lift force of about 100 pounds, several times a day or more.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of truck
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
Demonstrates initiative and motivation
